The Christchurch Junior Cricket Association (CJCA) runs two tournaments each season where girls from year 5 up to girls just starting Year 9 can play in matches which is organises on 3 Fridays from 4.30pm.
These provide an extra opportunity to play in an all-girls environment over and above Saturday Cricket.
The CJCA will organise matches for Girls now year 7-9 at school and these will be Hardball 20/20 games. We will also arrange games for younger girls these will be Incrediball games and be constructed to fit the number of registrations we receive.
GAMES ARE SCHEDULED ON FRIDAY 14 & 21 FEBRUARY AND 6TH MARCH. Due to Winter Sports trials.
THESE GAMES WILL BE PLAYED ON HAGLEY PARK (either the Hospital Corner grounds or Polo Grounds)
The cost for involvement its $40 and includes an CJCA Cap for all new players – payment is not required until the event starts.
Our 2nd Tournament runs in November each year and Year 7/8 girls wishing to be considered for CJCA teams for January Tournament must play in the November event which is held on Sundays.
