Make sure you reserve Saturday the 31st of July from 1pm if you’re a Cricket fan – New Zealand Cricket are bringing the World Championship Mace to Christchurch as part of their whistle-stop tour of the county.
From 1pm at the Christchurch Town Hall you can see the Mace and our heroes Tom Latham, Henry Nicholls, Matt Henry, Todd Astle and Gary Stead between 1pm and 3pm.
The event will start with Todd Astle receiving his winners medal and a Question & Answer session with the players at the Town Hall until 3pm when they depart for more southern appointments.
This is great chance to see the Mace upclose, congratulate our heroes and maybe grab a photo or an autograph.
